Ik heb weer een nieuwe challenge gevonden, The Shabby Tea Room. Het thema van de challenge is dit keer 'sparkly & bright', in combinatie met bovenstaande foto als inspiratie en de kleuren wit en/of creme, zilver en een beetje roze. Ik heb ook het thema gebruikt van de Cupcake Craft Challenge, all you need is love. De hartstans heb ik pas gekocht van X-Cut.

Ik heb twee kaarten gemaakt met een vintage look. Een voor een bruiloft en een voor een verjaardag. Ik ben nog steeds aan het oefenen vintage look. Ik heb eigenlijk een edge scraper besteld, maar omdat ik die nog niet in huis heb, heb ik voor de bovenste kaart de randen bewerkt met een schaar en daarna met inkt.

I made two vintage cards. One for a wedding and one for a birthday. I'm still practising on the vintage look. I ordered a edge scraper, but because I don't have it yet, I scraped the edges of the card above with a siccor and used inc afterwards.

Yesterday it was soccer night. I don't like soccer, so for me that means makings cards while my husband is watching the tv. I made this card with the sketch from the Mojo Monday challenge. Because I don't enter that much challenges lately, I decided to combine two challenges. I combined the sketch from the Sketch Saturday Challenge with the theme from the Sweet Stampin' challenge. The theme's a yummy colour combo of strawberry, chocolate and cream!

The stamp is from Me to you. The ticket is a digistamp by Jolanda. She's has a lot of digistamps on her site, which she made by herself.

Omdat ik de laatste tijd niet aan veel challenges meedoe, heb ik er twee gecombineerd. De sketch van de Sketch Saturday Challenge met het thema van de Sweet Stampin' challenge. Het thema is een heerlijke kleurencombinatie van aardbeien, chocola en slagroom!

Because I am so addicted to the Cuttlebug lately, it's been a while since I coloured a stamp. I bought so many nice dies! But okay, time for colouring. And I used one of my new Forever Friends stamps and the sketch by Sketch Saturday. Just in time to enter the challenge!

I love the challenge Christmas Stampin All Year Long because it helps me finishing my Christmas cards in time. I especially love this weeks challenge because it's all about me! I get to make a Christmas card in my favorite colour, and as you can see that's pink! The star is made with my new die by X-cut. They have nice dies like the Spellbinders Nestabilities, but much cheaper.

Ik ben gek op de challenge Christmas Stampin All Year Long omdat het mij helpt om op tijd mijn kerstkaarten af te krijgen. Ik vind de challenge van deze week helemaal te gek omdat het allemaal om mij draait! Ik mag een kerstkaart maken in mijn favoriete kleur, en dat is zoals je ziet rose! De sterren zijn gemaakt met mijn nieuwe stansen van X-Cut. Zij hebben mooie stansen die lijken op de Nestablilities van Spellbinders, maar dan veel goedkoper.

I bought some 'new' second hand Sizzix dies on Marktplaats. I and made this card with the present die. I love Sizzix, there are so many varieties!

I made this little gift bag to put in a gift certificate for someone's birthday. I always find it hard to make giftbags. That's why I used the mini folding box template by Rayher. The cupcake is a die by Sizzix.

I saw an example of a card in an old edition of Cards Only (number 7). So I copied the card and used my own colours and materials. I think it looks yummy!

I used a embroidery pattern and a sampler for the faux stitching. Then I connected the holes with a gel pen. I tried numerous of methods, but I think this comes closest to real stitching and is the easiest.

Ik zag een voorbeeld van een kaart in een oude uitgave van Cards Only (nummer 7.) Dus heb ik de kaart gekopieerd en mijn eigen kleuren en materialen gebruikt. Ik vind zelf dat hij er wel lekker uitziet!

Voor de faux stitching heb ik met een borduurstramien en een prikpen gaatjes geprikt en deze verbonden met een gelpen. Ik heb verschillende methodes gebruikt, en deze vind ik het mooiste en het makkelijkst.

I made this card for the new Sketch Saturday challenge. I used my new Sew Easy tool for the stitching. Unfortenately it's not as easy as it sounds, but I used the tips from the tutorial and they are quite helpful. I used a white gelpen to connect the stitching dots, instead of floss.

Deze kaart is voor de nieuwe Sketch Saturday challenge. Ik heb mijn nieuwe Sew Easy tool gebruikt voor de stiksteekjes. Helaas werkt het niet zo makkelijk als de naam zegt, maar ik heb wat tips op internet gevonden en die zijn wel handig. In plaats van borduurgaren, heb ik de naaigaatjes verbonden met een witte gelpen.

You don't see that many Christmas Cards challenges these days. But luckely I found a new challenge, it's called Christmas Stampin' All Year Long. I made this card for the challenge. The challenge is to make something for the 'Babes In Toyland'. Make a fun card to give to a child this holiday season.

I used a gelpen for the stitching. The stamp is by Hero Arts, the paper from the dutch shop Kruitvat.

Op het moment zie je niet zoveel kerstchallenges. Maar gelukkig heb ik een nieuwe challenge gevonden, hij heet Christmas Stampin' All Year Long. De challenge is om een kerstkaart te maken voor 'Babes in Toyland', oftewel voor een kind. Dit is de kaart die ik voor de challenge heb gemaakt.
De stiksels heb ik met een gelpen gemaakt. De stempel is van Hero Arts, het papier van Kruitvat.

I finally used my Sizzix Reindeer #5 dies again. I bought it last year, but only used them once. I thougth it was quite dull. But now I rediscovered it and I'm really keen with the result!

Clean and simple, that's the them by the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge. They want to see projects with a minimalist layout/embellishments. Clean and simple card have lots of white space. I used the Cuttlebug embossingset Dogs and the embossing folder Roses. I made the sentiment with the Crafts Too embossing folder General Greetings.

I made a few Christmas cards. For this card I used the Cuttlebug Tadpole Alphabet and Sizzlits Buttons. The paper is from the dutch shop Kruitvat, they have beautiful but cheap Christmas paperblocks.

For the second card I used the Cuttlebug Stars dies and a Smirk Glitter Tag Christmas. The border is made with the Quickutz Scallop Edges. The paper is again from Kruitvat.

And for the last card I used the Quickutz Christmas Tree and the Tadpole Alphabet for the letters. I embost the background with the Cuttlebug embossing folder Ice Crystals. I also like the shape of the card.

Het is een tijdje geleden dat ik een kaart met een stempel heb gemaakt, maar ik had gewoon geen zin om hem te kleuren. Maar nu had ik weer zin om een stempeltje op mijn kaart te gebruiken, deze is van CC Designs. Ik heb ook een paar vlinders op de kaart gemaakt want dit is het thema van de The Secret Crafter Sunday Challenge.

It's a long time ago since I made a card with a stamp. I just didn't feel like colouring. But now I felt like using a stamp on my card, it's by CC Designs. I also used some butterflies on my card because it's the theme for The Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge.
